BATALA Mundo - the whole world is Samba - and more

As a BATALA-band in Vienna we are embedded into a whole family of samba-bands worldwide who all have the aim to spread the musical lust for life of the Samba-Reggae-music into the world. This mutual spirit can especially be felt and experienced at large joint gigs with several hundrets of players - for example the annual Carnival in Salvador de Bahía (BRA) or the famous Notting-Hill-Carnival (ENG).
The musicians of the international bands also use this opportunities to visit each other from time to time, exchange experiences, study new rhythms and undergo the unique rhythmicity.
So BATALA far more than only music - it is communication on all levels and worldwide!
